Shaun Kenney can lie and delete, but he cannot hide

The folks over at the FredTalk forums have tagged a Shaun Kenney sign with a "FUG" sticker (FredTalk User Group). I guess if you post over 8,000 times, insult others, come off as a hypocrite, delete your posts, force moderators to never allow wholesale deletion again, run for office, spin your opponent's record, lie, and try to win an election claiming moral superiority, this is a "sign" of what you'll get:

I can't wait to see more.

  • And that is illegal.

  • I'm sure we can worry about worse illegal things relating to politics. Not to mention immoral.

  • And I'm sure FUGgers can spend their time doing more constructive things than vandalizing signs.

  • Agreed.

However, given Shaun Kenney's recent record of dishonesty coupled by erasing all 8,688 of his FredTalk posts... it makes me chuckle.

Something about the whole "Golden Rule" thing or "Every action has an opposite and equal reaction" aspect of this illegal action has an ironic quality that always amuses me.

  • Kenney had at them with a war of words that they took personally and did not like the results of. Maybe because they lost, maybe because they just never agreed, but they're pissed over his beliefs and instead of fighting him on an adult level they're going to go juvenile. Great, they're not going to win themselves any fans and Kenney still ends out on top.

  • I don't think Kenney had at them with a war of words. ... maybe a War of Wrongheadedness draped in religion?

I don't care if the FUG folks don't win any fans. As long as Kenney loses the election.

  • A couple FUG stickers illegally placed isn't going to help your cause then. And wrong? Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean he's wrong. You guys at FUG are so damn dismissive of any opposing viewpoints. Insane...

  • We can debate whether or not he's right or wrong until pigs sprout wings...

What we can agree over is that he's lied to me.

BTW, dismissing all Fuggers as being dismissive is very dismissive.

  • For anyone else coming to this thread, I just wanted to point out that yes FUG stickers may be illegal on Shaun Kenney signs... yet Shaun Kenney signs on highway right-of-ways are illegal too.

  • Actually, it was determined that signs on right-of-ways are legal, VDOT lifted that restriction years ago.

  • You sure about that? Some VDOT people appear to be under the impression they're still forbidden. I believe they're also covered by local signage ordinances as well.

  • Signs on right of way are illegal by local ordinance but because of issues with selective enforcement, they are generally allowed. Vigilante removal of signs is theft.
